Expert Training Sessions

SHM holds regional trainings on quality improvement as it relates to glycemic control, VTE prevention and transitions of care. The overall goal of the training sessions is to educate hospitalists on the implementation of best practices. Meetings will highlight the success of interventions as outlined in the respective quality improvement implementation guides. Leadership Academy

SHM's Leadership Academies are designed to provide hospitalist leaders with the skills and resources required to successfully lead and manage a hospital medicine program now and in the future. Our expert faculty have created a program that benefits both physician and non-physician providers by covering vital topics such as overcoming leadership challenges, effectively advocating a hospitalist program, improving patient outcomes and so much more.
