Enhancing the Cardiovascular Disease Continuum of Care: From Pre-hospital to Long-term Management
After taking part in this activity, participants should be better able to: Classify patients according to degree of risk for CVD, list the changes to the updated ACC/AHA guidelines for PCI, outline strategies for primary and secondary prevention of CVD in high-risk patients based on the updated ACC/AHA guidelines and findings from recent clinical trials, and implement procedures for discharge planning and long-term management of patients with CVD based on recent findings from ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
