Clinical Tools

This section of the Resource Room encompasses clinical tools that can be used as examples and tailored to fit your institutions VTE management routine. You will have access to a number of tools including ordersets, risk calculators and other tools.

Share Your Tools

To submit examples of clinical tools from your own institution, follow the 3 easy steps outlined below in “How to Submit a Tool.” Please indicate if there is a specific element or step that has been particularly useful. Before submitting it is a good idea to secure permission to post or otherwise distribute the material.

Complete the QI tool submission cover sheet
Attach your QI tool as a word document or PDF file
Send both the completed cover sheet and QI tool electronically to vte@hospitalmedicine.org.
