Credit Statement

The Society of Hospital Medicine designates this enduring internet activity for a maximum of 116.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

MOC Statement

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the activity, with individual assessments of the participant and feedback to the participant, enables the participant to earn a maximum of 116.75 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC points.

Frequently Asked Questions

After purchasing Spark Subscription, get started by clicking “Go to Content.” Choose a category to begin answering questions for credit or build your own practice exam. Spark Subscription can be used on a computer or by downloading the iOS SHM Learning app for a fully mobile experience. Please note there is no Android app available at this time. All Android users will still have access to the mobile-friendly web app on their phone browser.
Spark Subscription is easy to use! Complete each category to claim your credits or build your own practice exam to test yourself. Your progress will be saved as you complete questions. You can use Spark on your computer by logging in at education.hospitalmedicine.org or using our iOS app, SHM Learning. Use one or both — however you learn best!
Yes. If you do not receive a passing score of 75%, you will be able to reset the category for additional attempts. You will have the option to reset entirely or only reset your incorrect answers. There is not a limit to how many times you may reset, but credit will not be awarded until a passing score is achieved.
All users who have purchased Spark Edition 3 will have access to the product until 2026. To enroll in Spark Subscription, users must purchase the one-year subscription.
Spark Subscription is a separate product. All progress from Spark Edition 3 will be kept within Spark Edition 3. For any questions regarding claiming CME, please contact education@shm.org.
No, you will not be auto-enrolled, however, you will receive a reminder email once your expiration date approaches. If your subscription lapses, all progress will still be saved in Spark Subscription.
