The Society of Hospital Medicine (SHM) is a medical society comprised of hospitalists that exists to promote exceptional care for hospitalized patients.
SHM has dozens of Special Interest Groups (SIGs) devoted to topics, issues, and communities that matter to hospitalists. SHM members can participate in as many groups and events as they wish.
