The Engagement Arena is the reimagined “Exhibit Hall.” This will serve as the entry point for attendee access to all Partners (Sponsors & Exhibitors) that are registered and have processed payment to participate in SHM Converge. The Engagement Arena will house all virtual booths for SHM Converge, including the SHM Pavilion.
Interaction components such as video and text chat will be included with virtual booths that choose to participate. Attendees will be able to visit virtual booths and review provided resources, company-specific details, giveaways, and more. Additionally, attendees will be driven here to engage with virtual booths/Partners that will be participating in our Trivia Hunt.
The Engagement Arena and virtual booths will allow for attendees to access this location, anytime, throughout the conference dates.
When attendees are visiting the Engagement Arena after conference hours, they will still be able to interact with virtual booths excluding text/video interaction. For dedicated Engagement Arena hours, please click here.

The AAFP has reviewed SHM Converge 2021 and deemed it acceptable for up to 20.00 Online Only, Live AAFP Prescribed credit. Term of approval is 05/04/2021 to 05/07/2021. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
To claim credit, log into the SHM Learning Portal using your SHM ID and/or username and password to access your CME evaluation.
Log in when prompted by entering your SHM username and password. If you do not have an SHM username and password, select Create Guest Account on the login page.
Once you are logged in, click on the blue Register tab on the SHM Converge 2021 activity, and click Start to enter the live evaluation.
Click Start Course and follow on-screen directions to complete the evaluation for each day.
Yes! Those registered only for an Advanced Learning Course who would like to attend the main conference are able to add to their registration record and vice versa. Similarly, those registered for the ePoster Gallery can register to attend educational sessions.
Registrants may call or email with requests to modify their registration. Additionally, they may use their confirmation letter to re-enter their record to modify their registration online.

SHM Converge On Demand is automatically available on a complimentary basis to those who have registered for the main conference. For non-attendees, access to SHM Converge On Demand 2021 can be purchased here ($399 members/$549 non-members).
At the conclusion of the SHM Converge live event, SHM Converge On Demand 2021 will become available through the SHM Learning Portal, and will be accessible for participation and credit claiming for up to three years.

The Trivia Hunt is the reimagined Scavenger Hunt. This year, we have expanded the Trivia Hunt to drive traffic and engagement to Partners (Exhibits), Posters, and specific Presentation sessions. Attendees must scan a QR code with a downloaded QR scanner. Click here for instructions. When they scan the QR code they are given a multiple-choice question; if answered correctly, they gain points. They can earn points in the Engagement Arena and the ePosters website as well as in particular sessions.

Winners of the two top Research abstracts and top Innovation abstracts will present their work on Thursday, May 6 from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. ET.
All abstracts are published on www.shmabstracts.com in the Journal of Hospital Medicine Online Supplement. The abstracts are available here permanently but do not include audio presentations or poster images.
