Testimonials

The lessons I learnt at AHA 2016, really helped me in my interviews. I interviewed in about 10 universities for the position of an academic hospitalist, and I got offers from all of them!

Uddalak 'UD' Majumdar

During the talk at AHA about getting a mentor, I immediately emailed one of our senior faculty to ask him to be my mentor. That has been invaluable. So many doors have opened because of that email.

Jabraan S. Pasha, MD

I have had many successes since attending AHA including, my cost awareness curriculum, I-CARE, has now spread across the US and into Canada with bi-annual multisite competitions among internal medicine residents at some premier institutions. I've had a trickle of publications that has been steady (now over 15 academic publications). Highlights are first author Journal of Hospital Medicine, middle author JAMA IM, and (fingers crossed) potential first author NEJM!
